This Is Me: This Is Us received local media coverage, featuring interviews with supporters of the participating artists who spoke about the positive impact ARC has had on their creative development. The coverage also highlighted the importance of seeing artwork presented in public spaces.

ARC’s Creative Director, Kyla Craig, discussed the role of digital technology in reducing barriers for disabled artists who often face challenges accessing and exhibiting in traditional spaces such as galleries and museums. She also highlighted how many ARC artists have had limited opportunities to experiment with digital and augmented technologies. The project created space for playful exploration, allowing artists to engage hands-on with new tools and discover new possibilities for their creative practice.
