JASON SCOTT TILLEY

Jason Scott Tilley is a Coventry-based filmmaker and photographer working across documentary, portraiture, film, and digital media, with a strong practice in darkroom printing. His work explores identity, culture, and community, often combining archival photography with contemporary responses from neurodivergent and disabled artists. Jason has exhibited widely, including solo shows at The Herbert and Common Ground, and his projects include People of India and football culture documentation.

In 2025, the National Portrait Gallery acquired his portrait of Kylie Minogue. Committed to hand-printing and preserving his archives, Jason continues to expand his practice through exhibitions, travel, and new studio projects.

Jason continues to hand-print People of India and plans to develop future studio space to increase travel, storage, and exhibition opportunities. His ongoing goals include expanding both solo and group exhibitions, selling work, and sharing his archive more widely.
