This is me, this is us

This is me, this is us was a free outdoor art exhibition using Augmented Reality (AR), created by disabled artists from Art Riot Collective and Coventry University’s Disabled Staff and Carers Network.

The exhibition turned Broadgate Square in Coventry city centre into an open air digital art gallery. By using a smartphone or tablet, you could experience art in unexpected ways – like a sculpture floating above the trees and a painting almost as tall as the Primark building.

The project gave disabled artists the freedom to share their stories and curate their work in new ways. It invited everyone to think about who gets to make and show art, and the accessibility of public spaces.
