ALEIGHAN

Aleighan is a Coventry-based artist whose work transforms personal experiences into immersive visual narratives. Drawing on their time with Art Riot Collective, Aleighan’s practice explores the body, memory, and storytelling, using medical scans and hospital experiences as key source material in the Medical Mondays project. Their art provides a reflective space for processing experiences, communicating ideas, and engaging with complex emotions that can be difficult to express verbally.

Supported by ACE DYCP funding in 2024, Aleighan continues to develop a practice that balances personal reflection with creative experimentation, creating work that is both intimate and visually compelling.

Art allows Aleighan to slow down, focus, and communicate personal experiences in ways words cannot. Their practice reflects both introspection and creative experimentation, offering a unique perspective on health, memory, and identity.
